@isage Why rpmfusion? I do not even sure if RPMFusion is still alive, most of those packages are still build in F22.

The official valve repo already has issues on Ubuntu 16.04. Why would you want one for fedora? I don't see the issue with using a third party repo such as unitedrpms or rpmfusion. Most distros already package a steam launcher, so this is a fedora issue, not a steam issue.
@sudopluto Some distro such as fedora will never package any non-free software. Some third-party repo (rpmfusion and negativo17.org) packaged steam with a bunch of unused dependency.

Not every linux distros based on debian. The unofficial client in rpmfusion is outdated and package bad. Many people use fedora or openSUSE in the company and Home, We do need an official steam client.
