Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I am using the internal microphone of my Logitech C615 webcam for voicechat. If I test it in the steam settings it seems to work fine (Selected: HD Webcam C615 USB Audio via ALSA) as long as I chose ALSA. If I do the same settings but select via Pulseaudio then steam will crash.
When I start a game now (in my case CS:GO) and want to use the ingame chat it crashes the game and all I see in the console is

/home/xxx/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo.sh: line 64: 5037 Segmentation fault (core dumped) ${DEBUGGER} "${GAMEROOT}"/${GAMEEXE} "$@"

A dump file can be found here: assert_20160624104244_1.dmp

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Select external microphone via ALSA in steam settings
  2. Start any game with voice chat
  3. Use voice chat

Seems to work now since the latest beta-update. Not sure if that's the reason though. So please reopen in case.
