Did you use --mimic-xpad or mimic-xpad-wireless? Also, for long pastes of code, use gist.github.com
On further inspection it only seems like Shadow of Mordor is affected by the incorrect axis mapping, and --mimic-xpad fixes it there.
gist.github.com doesn't seem to include newlines in pasted code.
Edit: Big Picture has the same incorrect axes as Shadow of Mordor, and Limbo doesn't work at all with Xboxdrv.
Have you tested the mapping with jstest-gtk ?
For me it was no good and need to be corrected with jscal and joydevmap. After this, all my game work now nicely (the pb was with hotline miami, valdis story, and mark of the ninja).
A little trick to hide my real gamepad to steam or others programs (except for the smart sdl library) : i move js0 to js5 and event16 to event20 before launching the xboxdrv : the xboxdrv become the first pad, and because js2, js3, js4 and event17, 18, 19 don't exist, the programs stop at one gamepad found.
Hello @LinAGKar, are you still experiencing this issue on an up to date system?
Closing pending feedback.
Nothing extracted yet.
Using a controller with the xboxdrv controller no longer seems to work correctly. The controller layout is messed up (at least the axes) and rumble is not working. This seems to happen in any game. The controller is shown as "XInput-controller" in the big picture settings and is not configurable, which it used to be.
