Is this the right place for steamworks issues?
I suspect that http://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamworks/ is a good place to discuss this. However, even though I do have SDK access, I am locked out of that group.
Invalid appids lead to failed initialization, but do not cause an error message on stderr like the other error cases.
This isn't really the right place but it's close so we'll see what happens.
