Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Using an external browser like Firefox or Chrome to use steam links (for example to inspect weapons, skins, etc.) takes a very long time even if Steam is already launched, and disk activity LED is fully lit while doing that. I suspect that it's because the entire Steam application is loaded before it does anything. This wasn't happening before, and the action was taken instantly. Internal steam overlay browser doesn't have the issue.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Ensure the Steam client application is up and running.
Click an inspect link using an external browser.
Notice high disk activity as the client loads and the delay between step 2 and resulting action.
