[Debug info]
API v017
Steam package versions: 1496897923
Kernel 4.11.8-200
The problem I am encountering is for one particular game that I tried to launch with Linux on initial install. I made the mistake of:
Adding my Windows Steam library folder to the Linux Steam
Trying to launch Windows binary from Steam by double clicking the game
My workaround was just to :
Rename Win folder (to remove from Linux config)
Make a Linux steam library folder for Linux only steam binaries
Download, install and play all my Linux games
The only problem now is that the ONE game (which I tried to launch in the first two repro steps is the one now failing) is still trying to reference Windows *.exe binaries after Install. Note that the install does not state a size requirement and Downloads instantly. I tried Verifying Game Cache and Uninstalling / reinstalling, install is still instantaneous, but still complaining that it can't find the .exe file ('missing executable' error). Note that the actual game folder it is referencing is empty (BROWSE LOCAL FILES..). NOTE that all other Linux games I am running are working great, and that I already tried clearing the Download Cache.
Devs: Is there a workaround here? Im assuming there's some stale configuration somewhere in ~/.steam
