I uninstalled Team Fortress from the steam client and it left about two Gb of files in the SteamApp folder and both the desktop and menu launchers. No warning or errors where displayed during the process
To reproduce the issue just install Team Fortress for with the steam client. Play for about two hours. And uninstall it.
My box is a Core i7 with an NVIDA GTX 570 graphic card. My OS is Fedora 17 x86_64 with KDE Desktop.
