Meta bug to point to for issues such as #70, overlay doesn’t support 64bit binaries yet, so some games by default wont show in‐game community.

Will this ever be done...? Windows has it and it would allow games to run also in 64bit... not to mention java based games...

We have an initial implementation and it should release in an upcoming beta client, possibly the next one.

I believe it made it into today's beta client.

Yes, ~/steam/bin64 now points to .../Steam/ubuntu12_64 and the overlay works in 64-bit Amnesia as well as in 64-bit non-Steam games.

There is however still a broken symlink at ~/.steam/sdk64 pointing to .../Steam/linux64 (the 32-bit variant exists) - not sure if that's a problem or not.

Anyway, thanks for adding this!

do you mean it points to ubuntu12_64? anyway yes it works great on 64bit games even java based and external normal/java games :D

As for the broken symlink i guess it's caused by the fact there isn't a steam runtime for 64bit yet (so if your system isn't natively supported by the game you won't be able to run through steam, even though it wouldn't run also before and outside steam... in this case)
anyway big thanks :D

Heh yeah, ofc it points to ubuntu12_64, must have gotten confused with all the 32 and 64 ;-)

It’s working for me.

Nothing extracted yet.
