Hello @vfjpl, a possible workaround is to manually pin the steam-runtime variant of libSDL2_mixer-2.0.so.0 with ln -s ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/i386/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libSDL2_mixer-2.0.so.0 ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/pinned_libs_32/libSDL2_mixer-2.0.so.0.

Does the SDL_mixer in the runtime somehow have extra functionality despite having a lower version number?

I'm not using steam-runtime but steam still is using libSDL2-2.0.so.0 from steam folder: ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/libSDL2-2.0.so.0
I have not tested this with steam-runtime. Sorry for confusion. Is this bug related to steam-runtime?
