Problem

With a tilinw window Manager (i use i3wm), steam is encountering many problems, that i'll list below :
It would be nice for that minority if you guys can solve the most important ones.

• low ; graphics/visual : Window controls still show on the top right of the window (minimize, full-size and close button). minimize and full-size doesn't work of course, but randomly cause focus loss for the steam window that is impossible to recover without restarting completly steam.

• medium ; unexpected focus loss : when opening a steam popup window (for instance game properties) and then interact with the main steam window, it become impossible to take the focus back to the popup window.

• low ; Big Picture : Big Picture mode does not correctly declare itself as a "full screen" window: the status bar of the wm still show in a strange way.

• important ; Big Picture : When starting a game from Big Picture mode, the focus do not switch correctly to the launched game : on i3, the only way i found to open the game is switching the Big Picture window to another workspace.

• important ; Big Picture : When a game is in full screen, if the user switch to another workspace and switch back to the game window the game is stuck, impossible to do anythhing but kill the process and restart the game

• important ; Big Picture : The game randomly freeze until process kill when navigating in steam menu (for instance modifying cntroller parameters). I don't have any workaroud on that, it sometimes appear every time after 5 sec and the day after i can do whaterver i want in the menu without any problem.

Hope you'll find time to improve Steam Big Picture work with tiling window managers :)
