Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When running Talos Principle , if Steam Overlay is on after the elevator part( which the elevator appears on world selection hall ) system hangs in 2 or 3 minutes which as a sign with some stutter right before that happens and cpu load peak ( as i can tell by fan rpm goes up ). If you disable Steam Overlay for that game you can play without a system hangs or crash ( at least it didn't at my 30 minute test , solving puzzles etc )

Also i got Talos.log and Talos.All.log ( which i'm not sure about that All.log is relevant to that though ) which created by game automatically at system hang. Croteam points Talos.log at their Steam Forum section as a repot tool. Ctrl + Alt + F1 is not working at this state , basically only option is power off pc by holding down power button.

This an Nvidia Optimus based laptop which runs with Nvidia Prime , GTX 1050 gpu selected. Other Vulkan apps , like F1 2017 , Rise of The Tomb Raider runs without problems with Steam Overlay on.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Run Talos Principle with either OpenGL selected or Vulkan ( Beta ) selected through 64 bit , because it happens on both API's.
  2. Turn Steam Overlay on and off when you reach that elevator part. Until that part , everything works great with SO on.
  3. See the problem

PS: Talos.log and Talos.All.log added as an attachment.
