I'm not sure this is exactly the same bug, but I have the inverted situation also causing problems. When Streaming from a Linux box to any Nvidia Shield device, input works in Big Picture Mode, but then the controller is like non-existant in any games that start streaming. I can access the Steam overlay, control it but I can't send any input to the game.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
When streaming from Windows to Linux, keyboard and mouse input works in games but controller input is non-responsive in game.
Controller Input works in Linux Big Picture and locally on the Windows host -- however, when streaming from Windows to Linux, the Linux controllers are unable to control Windows games. Windows Big Picture does not recognize any controller while streaming but Linux Big Picture does.
