Closing the bottom terminal doesn't trigger a recalculation for the elements within the scrollable plane.

The Friend List doesn't though, when it's in float mode. Hovering over a Friend will result in a new window to open wherever there is room on the screen (which might be very var away from the Friend List).

This issue is still present on the new library UIs, the window decoration just gives up on scaling correctly.

This is how steam looks normally:

If I now open a terminal next to it, steam looks like this:

As you can see the columns moved close to each other, however there is still siginificant space between the Status and the Metascore column. More important however the control elements on the right side are cut of and the scrollbar isn't visible.
Seems like the only part that scales is the middle window and no space is reserved for the elements to the right of it.
Similar behaviour when the window is cut horizontal:

Although in this case there isn't anything of value missing.
