DOOM steam play mouse does not work

mouse cursor movement does not work in DOOM for steamplay beta test. mouse moves initially, then on first click mouse freezes. mouse will only move if scroll button is held, or while l/r button are pressed.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. load doom
  2. move mouse
  3. click, then try to move (you cant)

  • Video: X.Org AMD KAVERI (DRM 2.50.0 / 4.14.0-0.steamos.81-amd64, LLVM 5.0.0)
  • Driver version: 3.0 Mesa 17.2.4
  • Video memory: 1GB

It's not only on DOOM but in a lot of games. From what I've been testing I can list this ones with the same problem:

  • Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty
  • Dead Space
  • Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition
  • DRAGON BALL Xenoverse
  • Quake III Arena
  • Tomb Raider: Anniversary
  • Tomb Raider: Legend
