Chat window says FRIENDS NETWORK UNREACHABLE. Upon clicking the Retry connection, it fails almost instantly.
Any page I try to load with the Steam browser client (Store, Profile...) fails with Error Code: -130.
I can play Dota2, but I cannot see my friends.
I can load Steam webpages from Firefox just fine.
Apparently I had some outdated proxy system setting (which is usually ignored by most programs anyway) and I think got picked up by Steam after some update. I removed it and now I can use the platform properly.
