Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I expect the client to be still running after exiting a game. I could not guess what triggers it, but the client often is no longer working afterwards. It does not depend on the game, neither on the version (it is true since at least a few months AFAIK).

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Launching Steam client (preferably in a terminal to get the standard output)
  2. Launch any game and after a while (whatever the duration) stop it
  3. Client process will be stopped without explanation, often without any message displayed in the standard output (especially for native games)
