Hello @kelvie, for completeness sake, are you using OpenGL or Vulkan with Dota 2?
@kisak-valve I wasn't aware you could choose -- how do I find out what it uses by default?
The default is OpenGL, and you can find the setting in-game Dota 2 -> Settings -> Video -> Rendering API in use:
@kisak-valve Thanks, I just tested it by:
-vulkanDota 2 - Vulkan support DLC, as requested in the settings pageDota 2 still streams video fine, and the artifact video is still frozen (at the artifact logo)
Okay, this is super strange. I changed the resolution to something higher and back, and now it started working.
However, the mouse cursor is now corrupted, I think I'll file another issue for that.
Hello @kelvie, have you seen this issue since the initial report?
I don't think so, but it's been a while
Nothing extracted yet.
Your system information
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
When I try to stream Artifact, there is no video streaming. Input streaming and audio streaming works. Strangely, if I go back to my desktop (and run Artifact in Windowed mode, and click on my desktop), the entire desktop, Artifact included, streams just fine. It is only when it goes to do (presumably) the GPU hook for the game itself that the game completely stops streaming.
Dota 2 streams fine, and artifact plays fine and shows up fine on the Ubuntu machine, but not on the Android device
I use the AMDGPU driver (open source); it doesn't work with AMDGPU-Pro either.
