Hello @gunqqer, this is a feature request between the Steam mobile app and Steam. Proton isn't involved, so I've transferred this issue to the steam-for-linux issue tracker.
How is this still a thing after years of Proton support? A lot of people would love to be able to preload games when not directly using their machine.
there's a special kind of irony that this issue and #5639 exist at the same time.
A bit of necro bump, but that's seems to be fixed now. I can download Proton games from my phone

Description
Currently, when trying to start a download from the mobile steam app it works with all games except those that you'd use proton to play with the error message saying it is not available on the current platform.
