Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I switched out my Xbox 360 controller for a Xbox One S gamepad, but in games the 360 gamepad is still listed and I believe it is creating issues with games.
In Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, it list both my 360 and One S gamepads. I can use the One S gamepad but the keybindings are blank for the 360 gamepad and it complains about unrecognized gamepad.
In Eurotruck Simulator 2, it lists both the gamepads and it seems like when I try to use my One S gamepad, the buttons on it trigger two different functions. For example a button can both enable the left indicator and enable the parking break. Parking break is bound to space for keyboard. If I unbound that, it works, but I believe maybe the old 360 gamepad is creating this issue or something.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Use a 360 gamepad
Unplug it
Plug in and use an One S gamepad
How can I make Steam forget about the old gamepad?
