I'm playing Cogs without problem in the same system: KUbuntu 12.04, in a custom library in a NTFS partition (For it was related)

I don't know, but i'm restarting and messing with ntfs-3g-ntfs partitions drivers, and now AYIM is working, I don't think it was related with partitions, maybe a puntual problem, but now it's fixed.
