I have a laptop that I use big picture mode on when connected to my external display but I don't want it to use big picture mode when disconnected and just has laptop screen... I don't think there is a way to set this...so I could do with a shortcut to swap view modes.
Nothing extracted yet.
Not a bug, just a request:
Completely turn off Big Picture modes or a way to change/turn off the keyboard shortcut for it
I use alt-enter for other things, and I didn't have any clue how I kept turning Big Picture mode on until I contacted support since they shortcut isn't listed anywhere in the client that I saw.
I don't care that big picture mode exists, I just don't want to ever use it and would like a way to not accidentally open it. (I've accidentally clicked the shortcut before too)
For now I'll just make sure to exit steam when actively playing a game, it's just kind of a disappointing work around.
In case it matters, I'm running Ubuntu 18.10. I wanted this option back when I was running win10 too though.
