Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

TDLR; Game/Program uses desktop configuration, instead of its own. "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" has no effect.

I modified the wine prefix of "Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Collection" (212480) to use gallium-nine-standalone. Now steam does not detect that there is no launcher and uses desktop mode of configuration.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Install Steam via pacman and use native version
  2. Install dotnet452 and gallium-nine-standalone latest via winetricks
  3. Start game

It seems that the problem is that with gallium nine there is no steam overlay. It seems to be needed for the controller to switch profile to in game.

If i understand "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" correctly, then i should be able to deactivate the launcher config and jump directly to in game config. That would be totaly fine.
Do i understand that correctly?
