Well, as far as know, Windows version of Steam can't do that, too. That's why soft like Steam Mover exists. :)
Definitely, this feature should be in Steam itself. It is very useful and would be wide-used, I presume.
In linux you can do this with symlinks. ln -s
Manu, it’s not recommended to use symbolic links with Steam because of the way it handles its files.
Closing as implemented. Game properties -> local files -> move install folder.
Nothing extracted yet.
It would be nice - post install - to be able to move game contents between steam lib folders to allow retrospective moving of games away from SSD's to other storage perhaps?
