In Steam BPM mode, when going to system settings->audio->interface, I expected to see the audio interface options for my system. Instead I saw a message:
Audio settings unavailable. Failed to connect to audio service.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Start Steam
Start BPM
Go to audio interface under settings
Notes:
the problem is fixed if you do CTL-ALT-F3 to open a terminal, kill pulseaudio (pulseadio -k), wait 5-10s, then go back to Steam BPM and navigate away from and then back to the audio interface settings.
after changing audio settings, you have to repeat the steps above again for the changed settings to take effect
