Symptoms
Steam displays a message along the lines of "Runs on this computer via Steam Play" for games that only have a Mac version.
I can confirm that all of the games that I can test are advertised as both Mac and Windows on the Store, but in the library they have a different entry for each individual OS. The problem is that both of them display the Steam Play message and option to play it.
Reproduction
Open the Steam Library.
Find any entry that only has a Mac launcher.
The Install / Play button is there and usable, and the SP message is shown
