The problem has begun a few days ago: I launch Steam, use it a bit, quit and... the "connecting to Steam account" window reappears and it starts again on its own. This behaviour doesn't go in infinite loop: if I quit it a second time, it's closed for good.
The problem seems to happen every time I start Steam manually (i.e. not once per session or when it crashes or so).
My installation is up to date, I use the repository and I even uninstalled Steam (removing package w/ purge + deleting ~/Steam and ~/.steam) and reinstalled it, it still happens.
When starting it from a terminal, there's no relevant info: it seems to shut down as expected and then restarts.
