When the Steam menus (e.g. Steam, View, My profile, etc) have focus, the icon in the top bar disappears. When the menus lose focus, the icon reappears again. The icon in the bar I am referring to is the one next to the "Activities" button/hot spot.

This doesn't affect my ability to use Steam in any way, it is just odd.
