This affects me aswell. Friends send invites to group chats but i do not see the invite.
I get a notification, however if I click on it, it disappears without putting me in a group chat (even if I already have a chat window open). I have a feeling this is related to #266.
We are unable to reproduce this here. I've tried KDE, Gnome, Unity, and Xfce4. If we could reproduce it, it would get quickly fixed. Any ideas how we can get it to repro?
This is the same underlying problem as #266, so I'm closing this bug. Please post to the other.
Thanks.
Why is this closed? I just did a fresh install of the new Ubuntu LTS and I have this issue. My brother is right next to me sending me invites and I don't get anything. No pop-up, no sound, no window.
You might find enlightenment by reading the message right before yours.
If you cannot reproduce the issue, the solution is not to just close it. I did a fresh install and I have the issue.
I'm willing to provide whatever information I can be of help with. Command line logs, my system information, just name it. I can work around this issue by requesting my party to leave their voice chat and join a new one I create, but that wouldn't work when a second Linux-based player would enter our party.
I was more or less trying to point you to the correct issue to respond to. It's probably not this one. I myself can't help with you debugging, either.
The other issue is about clicking the chat notification pop-up. Normally when someone invites you to a group chat, a small windows opens up allowing you to enter. That's the one that I'm not having.
i go the same problem on windows 8.1
Nothing extracted yet.
Yesterday I faced following issue. My friends invited me to group chat with them multiple times, but there was no notification for me. Got spammed by PM why don't I enter the group chat :)
