Hello @JoshuaFern, this reads like a configuration issue by the individual game's devs. It may be worthwhile to make a request to those game devs to set their soundtrack as supported on all platforms.
I'm sure you're correct about it being a configuration issue on the developer end, but why is it even possible to configure soundtracks in this way? Seems like it only results in a bad user experience as there's nothing platform specific about playing audio files.

Soundtracks often have a hidden download button, requiring Proton to be enabled for the soundtrack to show the download button. i.e. 'Samorost 2 Soundtrack', 'An Octave Higher - Basic Soundtrack', 'Walden, a game - Soundtrack'
Soundtracks on Linux should be downloadable without Proton.
