Sometimes attempting to launch a game in Proton launches a game for a split second then immediately closes before a render window even appears. (Sometimes causing a random Steam trading card to be awarded for no sensible reason.)
One such example is when I just tried to launch Persona 4 Golden (using the recommended Protontricks method from ProtonDB) and, instead of launching the way it should, it does this and refuses to fix itself unless I reboot my entire system.
I don't know what causes this, so reproduction could be a bit difficult.
I'm using Proton 5.0-9 and have shader pre-caching enabled.
