Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I connected a Wiimote via Bluetooth and opened Controller Settings in Steam. The controller appears three times in the controller list, instead of once.

When entering Define Layout for any of the items listed in the "Detected Controllers" list, each of them detects input from the one wiimote.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Connect a wiimote via bluetooth
  2. Go to Steam Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings

After enabling "Generic gamepad configuration support", a "hide device" button appeared. Pressing it hides all of the generic gamepad entries

Hi, I experienced the same thing.

  • Steam client version (build number or date): Nov 19 2021, at 20:59:59

Normal Wiimote is detected as 3 devices.
Motionplus (brick or builtin) adds one device.
Nunchuck adds one device.

I tried to understand the devices by renaming them "Red Wiimote 1", etc, but to make it even more confusing, the listed devices seem to shuffle between which wiimote they belong to.

Nothing extracted yet.
