Steam client version (build number or date): Dec 16 2020 (1608176109/v020)
Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Arch (kernel 5.9)
Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Since the Dec 16th Beta pressing and holding either analogue stick on an Xbox controller in the down or right direction only causes a brief movement (instead of continuous). This affects both sticks but only in the down or right directions (and only exactly in those directions - slightly off still works). Other buttons, triggers etc seem to work as before. I have tested both wirelessly using XOW and directly over USB cable (and tried two different xbox controllers). This can be seen outside of games in the Steam big picture UI - open a web tab and try to control the cursor using the right stick. I tried flipping Xbox support off in the controller settings, had no effect. Issue is present in Proton (tried various versions) games and in native Linux games (with or without Steam Linux Runtime).
