The native version of the game is launching fine on Manjaro, and also fine if setup to run in the scout Steam Linux Runtime (via the compatibility menu).
This is likely specific to flatpak, I would recommend a non flatpak Steam setup for comparison. Of course you will likely run into problems with Void Linux compatibility at that point, but if Void can run flatpak it should be able to run the game in scout Steam Linux Runtime as well.
Nothing extracted yet.
It seems that after the most recent Steam update (version 1608507519), the game stopped working correctly. Trying to run the native version will say the game is running but will not open a window. It seems to run under the most recent version of Proton but I'd rather not have to use that when a native version exists. Running under Proton also does not allow me to load previous saved games from the native run.
