Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I honestly just want to see more robust privacy options. the suggestions discussion board on steam is useless, its just filled with people telling me poor work around or saying why I shouldnt want the feature because other people dont need it. I dont need random people on the internet telling me why I shouldnt need a feature im specifically suggesting.

I'd like to see an option on a per-game or per-group basis to change your friend status or mask your friend status.

If steam is going to sell adult titles, they really should include more robust privacy options and "just make another account for your porn games" isnt a viable solution for this.

if any of the devs see this, please at least bring it up to the crew during the next trip to the water cooler or something, its not just for adult games, I'd like to be able to auto set it per-tag too, immersive games are nice to have it auto switch for example as I tend to forget to about this and constant notifications really pull you out of a game.

just seems really obvious to me to have this as an option if you're going to include adult titles on your platform.

only real privacy is to set your profile to private
opening any part of it to friends/public allows way too much information on the activity feed.

i feel that we should have control over what is allowed to show up on activity feed from our profile
not just what we can see from other people (which is a lot)

i want my profile to be public so people can see it
at the same time dont want people to see what new game ive played, achievements i earned, or that i wishlisted 100 games today via the activity feed

Nothing extracted yet.
