Hello @mathsalad, this issue should also be mentioned to the game's dev(s). It looks like the soundtrack's depot has been configured to be Windows-only. Mac users would also be affected.
By enabling the Steam Play compatibility tool, you're overriding that platform restriction.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
When trying to download "Jump King - Soundtrack" it prompts to install and in this prompt there is no "Disc space required" or "Disk space available". After clicking next it instantly "installs" with a 0byte/0byte download. The music folder is created but it is empty.
I did try changing the download region and clear download cache. This does not happen to any other game or soundtrack I have tried.
I was told to post here by Steam support since this is the latest Pop!_OS rather than Ubuntu LTS. I suspect it effects Ubuntu LTS but did not bother downloading and testing it.
I did "fix" the issue by "forcing Steam Play compatibility tools" and "use proton" but downloading a soundtrack should not have much to do with linux or windows so I am still posting. I am guessing there is some specific "linux version" of the soundtrack and the folder is empty on Steams side but the "Windows version" is there.
