Steam client version (build number or date): Apr 12 2021, 18:51:43
Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Fedora 34
Opted into Steam client beta?: No
Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Navigating out of Steam big picture mode using super key to open activities view of GNOME and then selecting Steam's window will break input to Steam. It won't react to keyboard or mouse anymore.
After updating to Fedora 34 and GNOME 40 this is a big problem since the new GNOME opens to activities view by default. I have also set up Steam to open automatically in big picture mode on startup. I always need to close Steam's window and open it again to make it usable.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Open Steam in big picture mode
Press super key and select Steam's window
Try clicking Steam UI elements or using keyboard to navigate
I expect navigating within Steam to work but it doesn't.
