Your system information

  • Steam client version (build number or date): May 26, 2021
  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): GamerOS 24
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

In Big Picture Mode, if you select a non-Steam shortcut and go to "Manage Shortcut" there is no "Set Steam Play Options..." button displayed. In Desktop mode, this option is available though.

I believe this used to be available in Big Picture Mode but disappeared at some point unless I am imagining things.

I expect the "Set Steam Play Options..." button to be available for non-Steam shortcuts in Big Picture Mode.
This is useful for users of SteamOS and GamerOS when trying to play Windows games that are not on Steam.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Add a non-Steam shortcut
  2. Open Big Picture Mode (if not already using it)
  3. Select the non-Steam shortcut
  4. Select "Manage Shortcut"
  5. Note the missing "Set Steam Play Options..." button

This is no longer an issue since old Big Picture Mode is gone and new Big Picture Mode implements this. Thanks!
