Attaching dump
crash_20210611000504_3.dmp.zip
For reference, the attached minidump is DUMP_REQUESTED in crashhandler.so.
It's happening for me as well while playing CSGO in Arch Linux (NVIDIA proprietary drivers)
Same here. Happened few seconds after I opened steam overlay.

https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/8240
rebooted earlier with some updates
mesa was updated 21.1.5
no other changes, didnt increase my file limit etc.
decided to open steam...
8 hours later no crashing
no idea what had caused that error ...
I have the same issue. I've added my log file at the and. Comments suggest issue might be caused by nvidia drivers. I'll try altering them to see if it's gonna fix the issue.

I freshly installed OS yesterday night. Opened game, after half an hour I thought game freeze but turns out Steam Client crashed and game tried to close itself.
I followed the issue and found that if you're using mangohud and configured it with goverlay it might add exec to config for detecting session you're in. You can manually remove that line or remove the tick from goverlay that says session info.
has anyone found any solution for this? i'm having the same problem exactly and nothing is working to fix it

if you're using mangohud you can try the solution I explained above. Other than that I don't know. You might need more digging.
