Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I have an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and it's recognized as a regular Xbox One controller when connected over Bluetooth. If I connect using the USB cable it is recognized correctly

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Pair the controller with computer
  2. Open Steam and go to controller settings
  3. The controller is recognized as a regular Xbox One controller, not the Elite one.

It works on my laptop. I hope it merged soon to work on Steam Deck as well. Another bug, but that's beyond the scope of my original ticket, is the controller being named just "Elite" instead of "Elite 2" over USB. I will open a new ticket for the other issue and close this one when the PR is merged.
