Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I expected Steam to run normally without crashes. I got a Steam client that crashes as I start it while the client is logged in.
Curiously, the client's fine if I didn't check the box to "Remember my password". I found this out as I was documenting this issue tracker.
Debug trace as I run
steam, removing~/.steam/registry.vdf(this is the only way I can access Steam again, another way beingsteam --resetbefore runningsteam) in the terminal:Logging into Steam (with "Remember my password" checked):
