So I had deiced to rm -rf ~/.steam. again to see what would happen. Sadly it happened again but this time looked at my bootstraplog.txt and found that after a certain time period the Download skipped by HTTP 304 Not Modified fails after awhile.
Even reinstalling steam via terminal doesn't seem to fix it.
Nothing extracted yet.
So thankfully I was able to fix my steam client freezing every time I install or update a game. By using the command rm -rf ~/.steam. But now another problem has returned, a little over a week after I fixed it I had crashed my Steam Client due to a game freezing up while in game (Vaporum Lockdown). Upon restarting the client I though everything was fine, but after a sleep/suspend and waking up after awhile this problem came back.
If I check for a Steam Client Update it will be checking forever, only way it fixes itself is if I restart steam and then do the check and it tells me Steam is up to date. I did delete the package folder to see if that would fix it and it does for a little bit, but after a few sleep/suspend sessions it comes back and I have to do it again. Any ideas on how to give this a fix. I don't wanna have to type in rm -rf ~/.steam, since that nukes my steam games on my main SSD.
