The window for adding a new folder for the steam library is broken. It only shows an initial / and another / and nothing else.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Settings
  2. Downloads
  3. Steam Library Folders
  4. +

It's been like this for many months, with and without beta, reinstalling Steam doesn't help etc.

Running with a Swedish locale.

Note that I have the interface on English still. Setting English locale didn't change anything.

Solved by doing
sudo touch /
