Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
The library view has a "What's New" feature that shows new updates, tournaments, DLC, events, and other game news. This feature, according to its own headline is suppose to auto prioritize recently played games, but the latest top news items it has generated for my account are mostly for games I haven't played in several years: 12/2017, 03/2018, 05/2018, 08/2020
I am playing several games right now that are in active development, Rimworld, Stellaris, Crusader Kings 3, and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, but only Rimworld made it in the top 5 news items. Meanwhile, Crusader Kings 3 and Stellaris have just announced or released major patch note updates or major development updates and this feature doesn't show anything relating to them.
Suggestion on how to fix:
It might be nice if Valve added the ability to prioritize or de-prioritize a single 'collection' in addition to the current options of showing less or more of a specific game. This way, any game added to the collection would automatically get prioritized or de-prioritized dynamically.
This would be be beneficial because I have a 'Ready to play' collection and I'd like to have those games and their relevant news items prioritized, but when I'm done with a game, simply uninstalling it would auto remove from the collection and thereby no longer prioritizing it. Likewise, installing a game would auto-prioritize it.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Open library view
Observe the news items generated for the "What's New" feature aren't necessarily prioritized by recently played games
