Two of the most common Linux gaming tools are Feral Gamemode and MangoHUD. It is not too difficult for experienced commandline users to write gamemoderun %command% in the launch options for every game, but it is tedious.
A global launch options feature would fix this (and probably go very well with UI options), but there are two problems with it:
Those who don't want to/know how to use the commandline are out of luck.
I can't think of a single scenario in which someone wouldn't want Feral Gamemode enabled by default for all games. If this is not the case for a specific user, they could disable it with the UI toggle switch in the global launch options.
Two simple toggle switches or check boxes could easily let people enable and disable gamemode and especially MangoHUD with ease. It would also be neat if there were also advanced support for MangoHUD, like the option to use a specific profile, but at least an on/off toggle would be very helpful.
