I have reopen this.
My mouse doesn't work AT ALL, as opposed only the Y-AXIS not working.
Even after the update (I deleted the entire common/Half-Life directory).

It was pretty crazy. I reconfigured somehow the dual monitor setup with nvidia-settings and it started working again.
