As Elden Ring is coming up I'm politely asking if this can be fast tracked. I'd like to play that game on release and while I already asked NAMCO to make the mouse controls workable but I doubt that they will honor that request. Therefor, if I could use both my joysticks that would be great.
Nothing extracted yet.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Please change the steam input interface. I've bought one of these: https://virpil-controls.eu/vpc-constellation-alpha-l.html and I'm trying to use it with Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and it's annoying to say the least. Right now I have 2 tools running: steam input + qjoypad and qjoypad is not behaving nicely. The problem with steam input I'm having here is that I am asked to assign my joystick to pad controls and it just short circuits my brain. As you may figure I want to use the joystick in my left hand and use my right hand for controlling the mouse. I in no situation want any of my mouse controls to be applied to the joystick in my left hand (for any game) because that would overload my left hand and vacate my right.
Now, I don't know what incentivized game developers that are spending millions and millions and millions on their game to strip manual binding of joystick/gamepad controls, but the steam input system is just a horror to figure out at the moment and doesn't adequately compensate for this gross negligence from game developers.
What I would like is for steam to present games with a virtual controller that I as a user can bind to. This way I would be able to bind 2 joysticks to 1 gamepad that is sent to the game, and that means I can also use the Alpha-R if I so desire. Combined with a virtual keyboard and virtual mouse where I can bind my buttons/axes to I would have an interface that is easier for me to understand and I would not be required to use an additional tool to make up for the rest of my bindings. For games like Monster Hunter, my controllers do not need to be hotswappable, it's not a game I play in a local setting and I don't swap my controllers while the game is running.
To clarify the problem with QJoyPad in this scenario is that one it keeps running outside the game and secondly it seems to be faulty with the input conversion causing missed input and input lag.
I would also request the support for arcade sticks for the purposes of people seeing what they are binding to so that they can confirm their buttons are matching with the visual representation.
