This started happening a week ago, almost every day. I dug a bit more and found the earliest this happened on October 28. It happened for a couple of days and then it didn't. Very sporadic. for a while until it I first thought it was because I installed wlroots-git, xorg-xwayland to try out a Wayland session (which I haven't, never left the X11 session) and seeing that the coredump includes some GBM stuff it seemed this might have somehow been caused by having that stuff installed. But removing it didn't help as it is still occuring.
I thought it might be related to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/7370 - have had this issue for the first time recently and just 30 minutes after the segfault/coredump above, but I'm not sure if there is any relation.
I don't notice when it happens though. Steam doesn't crash, just behaves as usual. Sometimes black squares when scrolling in the client or the biggest issue I notice is when I bring up the minimized Steam window it sometimes opens only with a small delay/lag. But iirc these started before this issue.
