Whenever a wireless controller dies or disconnects for whatever reason and is reconnected the controllers get assigned to different player numbers causing all sorts of issues, even as bad as crashing games in some situations.
I've had multiple controllers assigned to Player 1, I've had player 1 get assigned as 2 etc.
Right now this is probably the biggest headache using Linux to play games right now and I hope some thought can be put into potentially permanently assigning controllers as roles of Player 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. We also need a huge big picture mode update because as time as gone on it's becoming unstable and a miserable inconsistent experience in the living room.
