One steamwewbhelper process ate all RAM

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Launched steam client in background
  2. here output of steam processes pay attention to pid 597342 which is bigger than 8.5GB

Can confirm on arch linux, latest steam version at this moment.
Additional note: this process was also using over 7 cores of cpu (ryzen 5 3600)

I'm noticing the same issue
My install is Ubuntu 22.04

steamwebhelper has a memory leak that grows if you don't do anything in the store, also when the steam window is closed to tray icon
Highest I've reen it go is 18 gig of ram
once you refresh the store page, memory usage goes back to normal, until you don't do anything for a while..
