Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

What happens

• Launching Steam for the first time the Steam Controller connects correctly and is able to be used by games.
• Leaving Steam opened overnight crashes Steam after thousands of lines of ioctl (SFEATURE): No such device.
• Re-starting Steam works but the Steam controller no longer works(not even as a mouse) even though the logs show that the controller is found Local Device Found.

• Before opening Steam the controller works in Lizard Mode.

What should happen

• Launching Steam for the first time the Steam Controller connects correctly and is able to be used by games.
• Leaving Steam opened overnight doesn't crash
• The controller is recognized the next morning without having to restart the system

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Open Steam and play a game with the Steam Controller.
2. Close the game and leave Steam open overnight.
3. Come back in the morning, turn on the controller and witness the horror of the controller no longer working.
4. Restart the whole system to get it working again

This has been happening consistently for a week and I haven't found another pattern other than leaving it open overnight. It's very annoying considering my main reason of using Linux is that I don't need to restart to play games :laughing:
